AWARDS
A total of six awards will be given in where excellence is determined. Judging is completed Saturday morning during the early art fair hours. The award ceremony will be held Saturday afternoon prior to the closing of the fair. Awards will be based on the quality of the entire body of work displayed.
FEES
There is a $10 application fee plus a $55 fee per “booth space” both payable at time of submission. Entry forms will not be considered until payment is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email after finishing the submission process and all fees will be deposited upon receipt. The Aaron Douglas Art Fair does not require an artist to pay any commissions. Each artist is responsible for collecting and paying Kansas sales tax.
If you are a school submit your application on the schools and nonprofit form.
FINE PRINT: If you’re not accepted into the fair a booth refund of $55 will be refunded back to you by September 1st. Tax forms will be issued to each exhibitor before the opening of the fair. It is the responsibility of each artist to return payment to the Kansas Tax Revenue Service.
CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel prior to September 1st ADAF will refund the $55 booth fee. If you cancel after September 1st no fees will be refunded. Some exceptions may be made for extreme circumstances and will be determined after Committee review.
The fair will go on rain or shine and has never cancelled.
